Kronos Fusion Energy has published the reference design point for its D–3He tandem-mirror burner, with the full dataset deposited under DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22645700.
The burner reference case posts an engineering gain of Q_E = 1.318 with a neutron fraction of f_n = 5.44% — the low-neutron profile that motivates the deuterium–helium-3 fuel cycle.
The deposit is intended to make the design point reproducible: independent groups can regenerate the published figures directly from the archived inputs.
With most of the fusion energy carried by charged particles rather than neutrons, the design pairs the tandem mirror with direct energy conversion rather than a conventional steam cycle.

The burner shares its REBCO conductor basis with Kronos's Hyperion breeder, which was frozen at Q = 3.076 earlier this month — one magnet foundation across both machines.
